The centralized payment period for urban and rural residents’ medical insurance premiums in 2023 is from September 1 to December 31, 2022; the benefit enjoyment period is from January 1 to December 31, 2023.

Each coordinating region may appropriately extend the payment time based on the actual collection work, but it shall not exceed March 31, 2023 at the latest.

The basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents covers all urban and rural residents except those covered by the employee basic medical insurance.
