Every year, the five artists or art groups that win the Group Art Award must come from the "Asian region"-including China, East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Central Asia, and the western region as far away as Turkey. Every year, 8 international curators are invited to form a jury for the Cluster Art Award, and each jury nominates 5 artists to generate a list of 40 candidates, from which the final 5 (group) winners are selected. The awarding place of 20 14 is planned to be in West Asia.
The Cluster Art Award is named after Michael? Michael hart and Antonio? Antonio Negri's "Empire, 2000" and "People: War and Democracy in the Age of Empire" (2004) discuss the future possibility of the subjects of cluster society in the practice of antagonistic and creative globalization. The statement in the book clarifies the theme of the Cluster Art Award to some extent: "We can't use it. Only through the necessary process of cluster practice can we detect and provide new models and judge their realistic possibilities. " Cluster art awards and series of forums provide high-quality platforms for people from all walks of life who are concerned about the development of Asian art, and deeply intervene in Asian contemporary cultural ecology through professional selection, awards, exhibitions and lecture forums.
