The Planting Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, together with the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, held a technical training meeting on centralized rice seedling raising in Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province, observed the centralized rice seedling raising and transplanting site, conducted technical training on centralized rice seedling raising and productivity improvement, exchanged the implementation of centralized rice seedling raising in various places, and deployed key tasks in rice production.

The meeting pointed out that centralized rice seedling raising is an important measure to stabilize the area of double cropping rice, an important way to improve the rice yield per unit area, and an important exploration to build a reasonable rotation. According to the "Implementation Plan of National Large-area Yield Improvement Action for Major Crops such as Grain and Oil", the path of rice yield improvement is clarified, and key measures such as technology integration, demonstration drive, business service, disaster prevention and mitigation, and grain saving and loss reduction are strengthened to improve the rice yield level.
