Twenty-sixth after the completion of the project, the person in charge of the project must carefully write the closing report and prepare the final accounts of the project funds. After the project supporting unit reviews and signs the opinions, it will accept the application in a centralized manner every year during the project period, and send it together with other relevant materials to the relevant departments of the Natural Science Foundation of China for declaration and conclusion. Twenty-seventh within 6 months after the end of the project implementation period, the competent scientific department shall organize experts to complete the project acceptance by means of meeting or communication review, and encourage centralized exchange and acceptance of projects in similar fields. Under normal circumstances, there are not less than 5 acceptance experts for the same project, including some management experts. According to the plan of key projects and the final report, experts comprehensively evaluate the project completion, academic significance and level, research results, personnel training, effectiveness of international cooperation and exchange, use of funds, and purchase of fixed assets of more than 50,000 yuan. According to the comprehensive opinions of experts, the Ministry of Science completes the acceptance review and submits it to the director in charge of the Committee for examination and approval. Twenty-eighth key projects within the specified time to complete the declaration and acceptance of closing materials, as a formal closing. The competent department of science shall go through the formalities for concluding the project, and issue a closing notice to the supporting unit of the project.
