Jingdezhen Ceramic University is located in Hu Xiang, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province.

Jingdezhen Ceramic University is the only multi-disciplinary institution of higher learning named after ceramics in China, one of the first batch of 365 and 438+0 independent undergraduate course art colleges in China, and one of the 94 institutions that are all qualified to recruit foreign students who enjoy the scholarship of China government to study for master's (bachelor's) degree. It is a university supported by the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions, an excellent engineer education and training program of the Ministry of Education, a demonstration university for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education of the Ministry of Education, a national university with typical experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, and the first batch of pilot universities for transformation and development in Jiangxi Province. Now it has developed into an important base for ceramic talents training, ceramic science and technology innovation and ceramic culture and art exchange in China and even the world.

The school insists on cultural consciousness and self-confidence, tells the story of China well, spreads the voice of China, and vigorously implements the China ceramic culture communication project. The school has gathered a large number of ceramic artists, educators and leading figures in the ceramic art world, and created and developed such artistic expressions as "modern folk blue and white", "comprehensive ceramic decoration" and "modern porcelain painting art", which has promoted the individualized, diversified and international development of modern ceramic art in China. The school has successively undertaken and completed a number of major national cultural research and publishing projects, such as Traditional Ceramic Craft in Jingdezhen, China, Photocopying Collection of Ancient Ceramic Documents in China, and Research on the Development of China Ceramic Art (1949-20 19) was approved as a major art project of the National Social Science Fund (27 projects in China).
