US EB5 Investment Immigration Application Steps
(1) Select regional center investment projects and remit the investment funds to the designated supervision bank of the project.

At this stage, the applicant needs to choose one of the many EB-5 projects for investment after strict preliminary investigation. Investors who have confirmed the EB-5 project need to sign the subscription agreement, custody agreement (provided that there is a custody account) and fund issuance memorandum respectively, and remit the investment of 500,000 US dollars to the regulatory bank designated by the project.

2. Prepare the I-526 application materials and submit them to the US Immigration Bureau.

Materials to be prepared include:

1, personal information materials

Copy of family ID card, family passport, entry and exit records, and 8 copies of entry and exit certificates signed by the United States, family birth certificate, household registration card, marriage/divorce certificate or unmarried certificate, certificate of no criminal record, copy of academic certificate of the main applicant, resume and 5*5 photos.

2. Proof of funds

Proof report on the source of investment funds and project management fees. Common ways to prove the source of funds are mortgage of real estate, sale of real estate, work income, shareholder loans, stocks, funds, dividends, etc.

3. Application fee materials

The original I-526 application fee needs to be provided, and the account for remittance of 500,000 US dollars and I-526 application fee must be the account of the main applicant, which can be a joint account.

After all the materials are complete, the Immigration Bureau will give the applicant a file number. While waiting for the approval result of I-526, the applicant can check the approval progress online through the file number. If supplementary materials are needed, the applicant needs to submit supplementary materials again; If the materials are approved, the applicant will receive an I-526 approval letter.

I-526 visa quota pending approval. With the quota, you can submit an application to the NVC National Visa Center. If the applicant is outside the United States, such as Chinese mainland, it is necessary to submit the DS-260 form to NVC through the "Consular Adjustment Procedure", which will be signed by the US Consulate in Guangzhou, and then obtain an immigrant visa to land in the United States; If the principal applicant lives in the United States legally, such as F 1/H 1/L 1, he can submit the I-485 form to NVC and apply for "identity adjustment".

Apply for a labor permit (LC) from the Ministry of Labor (granted in about 6-8 months). The LC needs to be submitted to the Ministry of Labor together with the applicant's information and employer's information, that is, it can only be applied after obtaining the applicant's initial materials. Generally, you can receive a confirmation letter from the Ministry of Labor within 3 days. The confirmation letter contains the date of receipt and the document number of the Ministry of Labor. Under normal circumstances, you can get the work permit paper in 6-8 months, which is the real work permit reply.
