It has organized and completed more than 40 scientific research projects. Currently, it is responsible for one Natural Science Foundation project, three projects of the Ministry of Education and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and one free exploration project of the State Key Laboratory of Geological Hazard Prevention and Geological Environmental Protection.

There are more than 30 published journal papers, 6 English papers, 2 English papers included in SCI, and 4 international conference papers.

Innovative research results have been achieved in hydrogeological conceptual models, bedrock groundwater recharge processes, groundwater vulnerability, and nuclide migration and disposal.
