In 2008, Tang Shuang was invited as honorary president of Zhouyi Association of Fudan University. In 2009, Mr Tang Shuang met with Professor Bai Gang, an expert on Indian studies in the Chinese Department of Fudan University, and Zhang Yu, a researcher at the Institute of Literature of Shanghai International Studies University. Later, he was received by Yang, president of Fudan University, and was promoted to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Massachusetts Institute of Technology to pursue a doctorate in science. During this period, Tang Shuang studied under two top scientists at MIT. His tutor is Professor Mildred S. Dresselhaus from the Department of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science and the Department of Physics. Professor Dressel House, who studied under Fermi, is Yang Zhenning's sister and a good friend of Professor Xie Xide, the late president of Fudan University. Tang Shuang's other mentor is Professor Chen Gang from department of mechanical engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Professor Chen Gang is also the director of the Advanced Energy Center of the US Department of Energy. In June 2009, US President Barack Obama visited China accompanied by Chen Gang.
In June 2009 +065438+ 10, Guo Kailang, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, invited Mr. Tang Shuang to visit MIT. Arranged and accompanied a visit to Philip S. Khoury, Dean of the School of Overseas Management at MIT, and cooperated with Professor Huang Yasheng to arrange for Governor Guo to meet with Alan F White, Dean of Si Long School of Management, and Richard M Locke, Executive Dean. In the same year, Tang Shuang was invited to attend the annual meeting of "Orthodoxy in China Culture" of the Research Center for the History of Thought of Fudan University. He is the youngest scholar to attend this meeting in history. During this period, I discussed with other internationally renowned experts and scholars the three major religions in the history of China, such as Hong Kong political and religious leaders, Mr. Tang Enjia, President of Confucius Institute, Professor Wang, Executive Vice President of Central Party School of Malaysian Chinese Association, Mr. Yang Ping, President and Editor-in-Chief of Malaysian Taoist Institute, and founder of strategy and management. And published the conference paper "The Interaction and Integration of Buddhism, Taoism and Prayer in China Tradition".
