1, the topic should be novel: the topic is a key thing, so you should attract people from the topic and reflect the "novelty" of your research.
(1) Current research focus. In the first five years, as long as nanotechnology was involved, the National Natural Science Foundation gave funds, more or less. There are two reasons for the analysis: first, it is new, and China is still blank, which needs to be strengthened from all aspects; Second, there are few tenders in this respect and the winning rate is high.
(2) Nouns that others may not have heard of. 200 1, a scholar's bid was "digital cell", which attracted people at once, and finally the project won more than one million. In fact, it is to record cell signals with instruments and display the electrical activities in cells in digital form. Then digital surgery and so on.
These two points mentioned are an inspiration to everyone, and we should also work hard on the topic selection.
2, the content should be novel: this is the key to the tender, we must have our own new ideas. The research content, research methods and technical route should be innovative, which requires the applicant to think more and work harder. In terms of novelty, we should fully understand every item of the fund tender.
A. Application content: The National Natural Science Foundation of China includes the following funds: key projects and major projects (1-5 million yuan), sub-projects and suggestions for necessary projects; Outstanding Youth and Overseas Youth Fund (about 500,000 yuan, youth is defined as people under 35 in June of that year); General projects (about 200,000-300,000 yuan), including general projects and youth funds; Social science funds (about 654.38 million yuan) and small projects (50,000-70,000 yuan).
Which part should we apply for? For the first two parts, the possibility of winning the bid is too small, and it is difficult for powerful scientific research institutes to get such projects; So we should focus on the latter two projects. The Youth Fund only belongs to people under the age of 35. For this piece, everyone reported less every year, but the state invested a lot, so the winning bid rate was relatively high.
B, research content: or subject nature, should be correctly positioned, focusing on basic research, clinical basic research and applied research, focusing on public health research. For our public health workers, it is very important to combine laboratory research with population survey to get a big scientific research project.
If it is only a population survey without laboratory research, the National Nature Foundation will not support this topic. This is mainly aimed at our preventive medicine. Many disciplines of public health involve this problem, such as statistics, epidemiology, declining birthrate, health and labor hygiene. If it involves a population survey, we must find a way to join the experimental research. Of course, there is one more thing. To apply for public health discipline, there must be the content of the crowd. If there is no crowd content in the future, it will be brushed off in the first trial.
3. The project must be clear: there must be both foreign and domestic work-(point out the problems that need to be solved in this content) Avoid saying that you "don't know the domestic situation" and don't "bump into guns". Write other people's works as well as your own. (Not afraid of overlapping with the "research foundation" part)-You can strive for the comment that "the project foundation is fully comprehensive".
If you want to write about this project, you'd better write about what your pre-research found (something to boast about), implying that "only I can do this project", otherwise it may be: "The project you wrote is very important, but it is more suitable for others to do". Avoid "filling in the blanks". "Fill in the blanks" is not the basis of the project. Reason: China's fund is to "occupy a place in the world" rather than "fill the gap"; Fill in the blanks is essentially "tracking".
The reason why the applicant is engaged in this research must be clarified. Some applications only talk about the significance and domestic and international trends of this project, without introducing why the applicant is engaged in this research. It seems that the application is addressed to others, not to myself. You should clearly introduce what you found in your previous work, what problems exist in other people's work, or what special ideas you have on scientific issues, and so on. Otherwise, it is difficult for the assessor to judge the applicant's own specific ideas, and such an application is definitely not in place.
The main references, including key research work at home and abroad, should be displayed, and the timeliness should be paid attention to. You don't need to list a lot of documents like the graduate student's opening report. Too few documents are not appropriate, which will easily make the judges mistakenly think that you don't know enough about the situation.
In short, the purpose of the project should be clear, the reasons for the application should be sufficient, the basis of the project should not be too popular, and the key issues should be made clear, so as to arouse the interest of the judges and make them willing to continue to read your application. You can make people reluctant to give up reading your application, so that the application will be competitive. The significance of project basic research should be straightforward. Don't say too many related but not directly related words. The main thing is to be clear about what you have found, what you plan to do and how to do it.
