Legal analysis: The road rescue fund should be calculated according to a cost standard approved by the price department of the place where the accident victims are rescued, and the maximum amount generally does not exceed 40,000 yuan. If the cost of rescue exceeds the liability limit of compulsory insurance, you can apply for a road rescue fund.

Legal basis: Article 12 of the Trial Measures for the Administration of Social Assistance Fund for Road Traffic Accidents is under any of the following circumstances, the assistance fund shall advance the funeral expenses and part or all of the rescue expenses of the victims of road traffic accidents:
