How long can I buy a fund and redeem it?
Open-end funds can apply for redemption when they confirm their shares after buying, while closed-end funds can only be redeemed after the closure period. Different types of funds buy or purchase, sell or redeem at different times.
Ordinary open-end funds are purchased on T day, and T+2 shares can be redeemed when they arrive. Funds listed on the exchange are settled at T+ 1, bought at t, and sold at T+ 1. Some special funds, such as currency ETF, bond ETF, gold ETF, some cross-border ETFs and LOF, support T-day buying and T-day selling.
What does the fund subscription and redemption mean?
After the open-end fund contract comes into effect, investors apply to buy fund shares, which is called fund subscription.
Fund share holders (that is, investors) require fund managers to buy back their open-end fund shares, which is called fund redemption.
How long will it take for the fund to arrive after redemption?
The redemption and payment of ordinary open-end funds will arrive in about T+5~T+7 trading days. Among them, the redemption time of monetary open-end funds is generally about T+2 trading days, and QDII funds are generally about T+ 10 trading days.
