So what is the Shenzhen Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology like? In fact, there is no such institution as Shenzhen Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology. The so-called Shenzhen Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology refers to Shenzhen Aerospace Science and Technology Innovation Institute (formal name), which is an enterprise located in Shenzhen Science and Technology Park. When Harbin Institute of Technology first came to Shenzhen to run Shenzhen Graduate School, it borrowed the office building of Shenzhen Research Institute for a period of time. In 2007, it was reorganized by Aerospace Science and Technology Group and Harbin Institute of Technology, and now it is mainly controlled by Aerospace Science and Technology Group.

It is also applicable to other Shenzhen graduate schools and Shenzhen research institutes, such as Shenzhen Graduate School of Tsinghua University and Shenzhen Tsinghua Research Institute (the former is a school and the latter is an enterprise).
