He is also the vice chairman of Fujian Civil Architecture Society, the deputy director of the editorial board of applied undergraduate series textbooks of Higher Education Press, the deputy director of the academic committee of geotechnical and basic engineering of Fujian Civil Architecture Society, the director of the geotechnical engineering research institute of Fujian Institute of Engineering, and the deputy director of the editorial board of journal of fujian university of technology Fujian Architecture.

The main research directions are: pile foundation engineering, composite foundation, etc. Teaching concrete structure, masonry structure, soil mechanics, foundation and other courses. Participated in research projects such as the National Key Natural Fund, the special research fund for doctoral programs in universities of the Ministry of Education, and the special fund for innovation of young scientific and technological talents in Fujian Province, and engaged in "Experimental study on rheological properties of sand in the north anchorage area of Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge", "Study on pile foundation properties under passive load and its CAE&; Research work of major national projects and provincial scientific research projects such as CAD software. He has presided over many provincial natural science funds and scientific research projects, such as "theoretical research on experimental calculation of pile and geotextile composite foundation", "application research of settlement reducing pile in Fujian soft soil area" and "research on nonlinear characteristics of pile foundation settlement".
