He is currently the director of Oncology Department of Wangjing Hospital of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and concurrently the secretary-general of Oncology Committee of China Association for the Promotion of Chinese Medicine, the secretary-general of Oncology Committee of Chinese Medicine of China Cancer Foundation and the standing member of Oncology Committee of China Gerontology Society.

Pay attention to syndrome differentiation and treatment, and treat lung cancer, breast cancer, digestive tract tumor, renal cancer and neuroendocrine cancer with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine to reduce the recurrence and metastasis of cancer. The main research directions are standardized treatment of tumor with combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine, comprehensive treatment of lung cancer with supplementing qi and nourishing yin, prevention and treatment of recurrence and metastasis of breast cancer with traditional Chinese medicine and comprehensive treatment of digestive tract tumors. In 2007, he won the second prize of science and technology of Chinese medicine society, and 20 10 won the second prize of science and technology of Chinese medicine society.
