Chapter 1 General Provisions Article 1 The China Economics Award is an awards event jointly held by the China Macroeconomics Society China Macroeconomics Fund (hereinafter referred to as the China Macroeconomics Fund) and the China Economic Reform Research Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Reform Fund).
Article 2 In order to ensure the objectivity and fairness of the China Economics Award, this award charter is formulated in accordance with the purposes of the China Macro Fund and the Reform Fund.
Article 3 This charter applies to all types of awards of the China Economics Award.
Article 4 The purpose of establishing the China Economics Award is to promote the prosperity of China’s economic theory research and the improvement of policy-making standards by rewarding Chinese scholars who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of economic theory, policy and research methods, and to popularize knowledge in the economic field.
Basic knowledge and make due contributions to the healthy development of the Chinese economy and the world economy.
Article 5 The award process of the China Economics Prize follows the principles of impartiality, fairness and openness, strictly follows the rules of the award charter, maintains the independence of the award, and prevents any interference by any organization or individual that goes beyond the charter.
Article 6 The winner of the China Economics Prize must be a citizen of the People's Republic of China who has made outstanding contributions in economic theories, policies and methods since the reform and opening up.
Those who are engaged in various economic management departments, enterprises and institutions, educational and scientific research institutions, or have engaged in research work in the economic field can be awarded for their academic achievements after 1978.
Article 7 The China Economics Award is an honor awarded to the winners by China Macro Fund and the Reform Fund.
This award will not be used for other purposes.
Article 8 The China Economics Prize Management Committee is responsible for the management and guidance of the award, and the Secretariat of the China Economics Prize Management Committee is responsible for the organization and daily work of the award review.
Chapter 2 Awards, Award Objects and Award Criteria Article 9 Awards The China Economics Award currently has two awards: the Outstanding Contribution Award and the Young Scholar Award.
Article 10 Rewards: The Outstanding Contribution Award is for experts and scholars who have made outstanding contributions to economic theories, policies and methods; the Young Scholars Award is for those who have made outstanding contributions to economic theories, policies and methods and is under the age of 50.

Article 11: The reward amount for the Outstanding Contribution Award is 200,000 yuan, and the reward amount for the Young Scholar Award is 100,000 yuan.
Article 12 Number of Awards: In each session of the awards, the number of recipients of the Outstanding Contribution Award is no more than three, and the number of recipients of the Young Scholar Award is one.

3. Make major inventions and innovations in economic theory research methods and economic management methods, make outstanding contributions to the improvement of methods, and have been proven to be effective in practice.
(2) Outstanding contributions in the above three aspects must be proven by books, papers, publications and award certificates issued by relevant institutions. The above certification materials and achievements must be reviewed and verified by the staff of the Secretariat of the China Economics Prize Management Committee.
(3) The Outstanding Contribution Award can only be awarded once to each person in his or her lifetime.
Section 2 Young Scholar Award (1) The Young Scholar Award refers to those who have made breakthrough contributions in the fields of economic theory, policy and methods, have had an important impact in academia and decision-making circles, and have a certain reputation at home and abroad.

(2) The Young Scholar Award is only awarded to young scholars under the age of 50 (including 50 years old), and can only be awarded once in a lifetime.
Young Scholar Award recipients are eligible to receive another Outstanding Contribution Award.
Chapter 3 Awarding Organization Article 14 China Macro Fund and the Reform Fund jointly established the China Economics Prize Management Committee, an evaluation body. The management committee has a secretariat. The work of the China Economics Prize Management Committee Secretariat is undertaken by the China Macro Fund Secretariat.

In accordance with the authorization of the China Economics Prize Management Committee, the Secretariat assumes the following responsibilities in the award evaluation activities: (1) Responsible for nominating, adding or replacing members of the China Economics Prize Expert Committee to the China Economics Prize Management Committee; (2) Responsible for organizing
The China Economics Prize Expert Committee recommends candidates for the award; (3) Responsible for organizing the review work of the China Economics Award Committee; (4) Responsible for organizing candidate announcements, press conferences, awards conferences, and academic seminars related to the award activities.

Article 15 The China Economics Award establishes a China Economics Award Expert Committee, which is responsible for recommending candidates for each award.
The term of each member of the Expert Committee is five years.
