1. The applicant applies to the exit-entry administration department of the public security bureau (sub-bureau) where the household registration is located, answers relevant inquiries and truthfully fills out the Application Form for Residents of this Province to Settle in Hong Kong and Macao in duplicate as required, and submits three color photos;
2. Submit the resident identity card, residence booklet or other household registration certificates.
3. Submit the Hong Kong resident identity card of the adoptive parents.
4, submit Hong Kong and Macao residents' adoptive parents to and from the mainland pass or Hong Kong and Macao compatriots home visit permit or other valid travel documents.
5. Submit proof of adoption relationship.
Conditions for children to apply for residence in Hong Kong:
1. If the applicant is under the age of 18, born out of wedlock or his parents are divorced, and his father who raised him is about to settle in Hong Kong or Macao, he can accompany him as a reunited child or apply for settlement in Hong Kong or Macao according to the parents of minors;
2. If the applicant is born out of wedlock or has doubts about the parent-child relationship with his parents, the parent-child relationship must be identified in the hospital or institution designated by the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ.
Legal basis: Article 7 of the Interim Measures for the Administration of Private Travel between China Citizens and Hongkong or Macau.
Under any of the following circumstances, you may apply for settlement in Hong Kong and Macao:
(1) One of the spouses has settled in Hong Kong or Macao and has been separated for many years;
(2) Parents who have settled in Hong Kong and Macao are old and infirm and must be taken care of by mainland children;
(three) the elderly and children who are helpless in the mainland have to rely on their immediate family members and close relatives in Hong Kong and Macao;
(four) the immediate family members who have settled in Hong Kong and Macao have no inheritance, and they must be inherited by the children who have settled in the Mainland;
(five) there are other special circumstances that must be solved.
