With the existing software and hardware conditions of Dongguan University of Technology, Dongguan Taiwanese Nursery Education Foundation is responsible for introducing high-quality education resources from relevant universities in Taiwan Province.

On January 29th, 215, Dongguan University of Technology officially signed a cooperation agreement with Dongguan Taiwanese Nursery Education Foundation. Both sides explored a new mechanism to set up a secondary teaching institution in Dongguan University of Technology: Guangdong-Taiwan Industrial Science and Technology College. Using the existing software and hardware conditions of Dongguan University of Technology, Dongguan Taiwanese Nursery Education Foundation was responsible for introducing high-quality education resources from relevant universities in Taiwan Province, jointly establishing corresponding majors for traditional industries and strategic emerging industries in Dongguan and jointly training students.

Specialty Setting

Guangdong-Taiwan Institute of Industrial Science and Technology has determined six joint training majors in the first phase based on market research and demonstration in view of the demand for applied talents in traditional industries and strategic emerging industries in the Pearl River Delta. This year, it will recruit undergraduates in six majors, including precision manufacturing, automation, industrial design, multimedia design, cross-border e-commerce, economy and finance.

In addition, according to six professional directions, Dongguan Taiwanese Nursery Education Foundation has sought the first three representative cooperative institutions in relevant professional fields in Taiwan Province: chaoyang university of technology, lunghwa university of science and technology and Deming University of Finance and Economics.

according to the talent training plan, combined with their respective courses and teacher advantages, the teaching proportion of Chinese-Taiwanese cooperative universities in Guangdong-Taiwan Institute of Technology accounts for more than 34.5%, and 72 full-time teachers from Taiwan are to be hired.

after entering the school, students will choose to study in relevant professional cooperative colleges in Taiwan Province for one year according to the principle of voluntariness, and their credits will be recognized by Dongguan University of Technology. During my study in Taiwan Province, I will pay tuition fees according to the charging standards of the institutions I attend. Students who meet the conditions for graduation and degree awarding will be awarded the graduation certificate of Dongguan University of Technology and related degree certificates.
