School profile
Chifeng College is a full-time general college established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2003. It is formed by the merger of Chifeng Teachers College for Nationalities, Chifeng Education College, Inner Mongolia Radio and Television University Chifeng Branch, Inner Mongolia Preschool Normal School and Chifeng Health School. In 2008, Chifeng Art Tourism School was merged into Chifeng College. The school is located in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, the birthplace of the famous "Hongshan Culture", with a history of more than 60 years.
The school has 18 party and government management institutions, 5 teaching auxiliary institutions and 2 group organizations.
There are Mongolian Institute, School of History and Culture, College of Literature, School of Economics and Management, School of Law and Business, Teachers College, School of Preschool Education and Special Education, School of Foreign Languages, School of Marxism, School of Music, School of Fine Arts, School of Physical Education and School of Mathematics and Computer Science.
At present, there are 25 teaching institutions, including School of Resources, Environment and Architecture Engineering, School of Physics and Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, School of Chemistry and Life Sciences, Basic Medical College, Stomatological Medical College, Clinical Medical College, Nursing College, International Education College, Continuing Education College, Agricultural College, Tourism College and Mongolian Medical College.
There are three affiliated units: affiliated hospital, affiliated second hospital and affiliated middle school.
At present, there are 1 national specialty construction sites, 1 autonomous region-level comprehensive reform pilot specialty, 1 autonomous region-level key cultivation discipline, 2 autonomous region-level key construction specialty, 9 autonomous region-level brand specialty, autonomous region-level top-quality courses 18 courses, 2 autonomous region-level experimental teaching demonstration centers and key autonomous regions.
Since the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", it has won 30 projects of the National Social Science Fund, 25 projects of the National Natural Science Fund, 42 papers retrieved by SCI, EI and CPCI, and 164 scientific research awards at all levels in the autonomous region, including 3 government awards and 33 other awards above the provincial level.
