3. The Global Mayors' Forum "Urban Sustainable Development Award" is based on Melbourne Principles, each principle corresponds to an award, and there is also a comprehensive award, including 1 1 awards.
Fourth, the Global Mayors Forum "Urban Sustainable Development Award" was selected in strict accordance with the Global Mayors Forum "Urban Sustainable Award Selection Criteria", and the selection work adhered to the principles of objectivity, fairness, openness and independence to ensure the seriousness and authority of the selection and the credibility of the selection results.
5. The "Urban Sustainable Development Award" of the Global Mayors Forum will be awarded to projects that have made outstanding contributions to urban sustainable development. Each nominated project needs to make remarkable achievements in practicing one or more (up to three) Melbourne Principles.
Six, the Global Mayors Forum "Urban Sustainable Development Award" is selected every two years. The term of office of each Selection Committee is four years, and new members of the Selection Committee should be elected in advance before the term of office of each Selection Committee expires. The projects nominated by the Urban Sustainable Development Award must prove their contribution to the sustainable development of the city. Projects can come from the municipal government, non-governmental organizations, private enterprises, or cooperative projects composed of three parties.

(For example, adopt resolutions to implement the principle of sustainable development, formulate a sustainable development charter, or participate in the 2 1 local action plan, etc. ) 02. Does the project emphasize the all-round development of society, economy, environment and culture in its planning, policies and actions? 03. Does the project promise to treat the disadvantaged groups equally and improve their welfare? 04. Does the project actively cooperate with other relevant institutions? 05. Is the project execution and mobility strong enough? 06. Is there any innovation in this project?
In addition to the general principles of the above selection criteria, the application items shall be selected from one or more of the following categories for evaluation by the selection committee. Please note that the number of selected categories is not important. The judges will judge whether the cases provided by the city meet the requirements according to their depth and quality.
