China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese is a national people's organization composed of returned overseas Chinese and their relatives. It is a bridge and link between the party and the government to contact the vast number of returned overseas Chinese, their relatives and overseas Chinese. China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese is a national first-class people's organization and a constituent unit of China People's Political Consultative Conference. Overseas Chinese federations at all levels enjoy equal treatment with trade unions, the Communist Youth League, women's federations and other people's organizations at the same level.
Functions of China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese:
1, entrusted by China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, is responsible for the management, service and coordination of public welfare undertakings of China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Responsible for guiding overseas Chinese federations at all levels to carry out public welfare work;
2, responsible for the organization, guidance and implementation of major public welfare projects such as "Overseas Chinese Love Project" advocated by China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese;
3. To provide services for returned overseas Chinese and their relatives who are enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings, overseas Chinese, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, overseas Chinese delegations, and enterprises, institutions and individuals who care about supporting public welfare undertakings of returned overseas Chinese;
4. Responsible for receiving, managing and serving donations from all walks of life;
5. Responsible for the management and service of the foundation directly under the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese;
6. To be responsible for the investigation and study of the public welfare undertakings of the Overseas Chinese Federation, organize the exchange of experience, give full play to the overall advantages of the Overseas Chinese Foundation, and serve overseas Chinese and society;
7. Strengthen contact and communication with overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese foundations who are enthusiastic about public welfare at home and abroad, and promote mutual exchanges and cooperation;
8. Complete other tasks assigned by China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.
