Suzhou University Institute of Functional Nanometer and Soft Matter is a good research institute. From 2065438 to May 2007, our school has ranked in the top one thousandth of the world in materials science and chemistry. From June 5438 to1October 065438 in 2020, the discipline of materials science in our school has risen to the 28th place in ESI world and the 9th place in universities in China. Suzhou Nanotechnology Collaborative Innovation Center, which was jointly established by the Institute and relevant cooperative units, was approved as one of the first batch 14 collaborative innovation centers in the "201plan" of the Ministry of Education.

The Institute has successively been approved as the academic innovation and intelligence introduction base of universities (national "11plan"), the innovation base of Suzhou nanotechnology industry combining science and education in a province, and the international cooperation joint laboratory of the Ministry of Education (carbon-based functional materials and devices).
