From June to 10, 2003, Zhang Gaiqin was the chairman of Gansu Calligraphers Association (concurrently); Zhai (full-time), Qin Libin, Lin Tao, Wang Xunduan, An, Hao, etc. He is the vice chairman of Gansu Book Association; Lu is the secretary-general. From June to February, 2003, Ying, Mu Yongji and Yang Xuhua were appointed honorary chairmen of the provincial bookstore, and Chen Fujun was appointed vice chairman of the Gansu bookstore. Under the correct leadership of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the leading bodies of Gansu Calligraphy Association, based on reality and facing the whole country, have carried out colorful calligraphy activities with the goal of promoting Gansu's rich and colorful calligraphy resources, cultivating a group of outstanding young and middle-aged talents in calligraphy, seal cutting and theory, and forming a calligraphy creation environment with long-term development strategy, which has played an important role in the healthy and stable development of Gansu calligraphy. Over the past 20 years, Gansu Book Association has held various large-scale exhibitions 100 times, which has a wide influence. At large-scale book fairs and theoretical seminars all over the country, the number of winners has also increased year by year, and a number of highly professional works have been published, forming a trapezoidal calligraphy theory team.

The series of calligraphy exhibitions in the new century held in 2000, including the first female calligraphy exhibition in Gansu Province and the calligraphy exhibition of seventeen people in Gansu Province, have comprehensively promoted the calligraphy creation in the whole province.

From August to September, 2002, the 8th China-Korea and China-Singapore Calligraphy Exchange was held. Gansu Calligraphy Association formed 28 calligraphy exchange delegations to South Korea and 4 calligraphy exchange delegations to visit and exchange in the calligraphy circles of the two countries, which expanded the external influence of Gansu calligraphy.

In 2003, the first Dunhuang International Calligraphy Art Festival was held, which was the first time that a large-scale calligraphy art festival was held in our province. A total of 10 and 2090 works were exhibited in the exhibitions and related activities led by the second national cursive script exhibition. Published the Second National Cursive Calligraphy Exhibition, Dunhuang Calligraphy Essays and the First Gansu Zhang Zhi Award, which expanded Gansu's influence in the country and increased its income.

In 2004, Gansu Calligraphy Award Fund was established to reward people who have made outstanding contributions to calligraphy creation and theoretical research.

Gansu Book Association has now developed 73 national members and 9 13 provincial members. The rapid development of calligraphy ranks in Gansu province has laid a solid foundation for the future development of Gansu calligraphy. [ 1]
