Why did Xiangcheng build Zhang Boju Park?
In memory of Zhang Boju. Formerly known as Zhang, a native of Xiangcheng, Henan Province, a patriotic Democrat, a collector, a painter, a poet, and a Beijing opera art researcher. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, he donated many precious paintings and calligraphy to the country and made great contributions. In order to commemorate him, Xiangcheng government built Zhang Boju Park on 20 19, which is located in the triangle of the southwest corner of People's Park and covers an area of 85 mu, namely Zhang Boju Memorial Hall and Garden Landscape Area.
