Zhou Xuhong Principal ______________________________________________________________________ Zhou Xuhong, male, Han nationality, born in October 1956, from Nanxian County, Hunan Province, has a doctoral degree, professor and doctoral supervisor.

He joined the Communist Party of China in April 1985 and started working in January 1973.

He is currently the president of Lanzhou University, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and a representative of the 11th National People's Congress.

From March 1978 to January 1982, he studied civil engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering of Hunan University and obtained a bachelor's degree; from August 1984 to June 1986 and from September 1987 to November 1992, he studied civil engineering at Hunan University.

He studied structural engineering and obtained master's and doctoral degrees respectively.

From January 1982 to August 1984, he served as an assistant engineer of the Fifth Engineering Bureau of China Construction.
