Rich people can donate money~
Take Chuck Feeney as an example
In 1988, Forbes estimated Feeney’s wealth at US$1.3 billion and listed him among the rich Top 20 on the list. However, his actual wealth is now less than $5 million. The reason is that Feeney transferred 38.75% of DFS's shares to a charitable foundation six years ago. His reason was crude "I don't want money to consume my life."
I can't imagine anything cooler than spending a billion dollars like this. Instead of spending that money on a Ferrari, I might have more fun donating a billion dollars.
Of course, this is not the coolest thing. If you want to be cooler, please choose to donate anonymously!
Feeney later founded Atlantic Philanthropies, an independent foundation in Bermuda. Unlike many philanthropists, Feeney donated anonymously, and the foundation did not disclose his name, which allowed him to better maintain the safety of his family, although the matter was eventually disclosed by the media.
