19981/kloc-0 was selected as the first batch of "Hundred Talents Program" in Tsinghua University, won the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2000, and was hired as "distinguished professor of the Yangtze River" by the Ministry of Education in 2006. He has successively won the first prize of Natural Science Award of China Academy of Sciences in 2000, the second prize of National Natural Science Award in 20001,the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award in 2006 and the second prize of National Natural Science Award in 2008. He is the deputy editor-in-chief of the academic journal Nano Research and Science Bulletin, the editorial board of China Science Series B: Chemistry, and the editorial board of Inorg. Chemistry. Chemistry. Mater
Mainly engaged in synthetic chemistry research of inorganic nanomaterials, including controllable synthesis and assembly of monodisperse nanocrystals, preparation and formation mechanism of one-dimensional nanomaterials, complexes of precious metals with other metals and their catalytic applications. The "liquid-solid-liquid" interface regulation mechanism of nanocrystals is proposed, and the controllable preparation of different types of nanocrystals is realized. Hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis techniques have been successfully applied to the synthesis of new one-dimensional nanomaterials, and nanowires and nanotubes such as bismuth, titanate, silicate, vanadate and rare earth compounds have been prepared, revealing the directional growth law of nanocrystals under liquid phase conditions. The concept and empirical formula of apparent electronegativity of intermetallic compounds and alloys are put forward, and a low-temperature synthesis method is established, which is 400-500 degrees lower than the traditional high-temperature synthesis method of intermetallic compounds and alloys, and new important progress has been made in the synthesis and preparation of precious metals, other transition metals, main groups and other intermetallic compounds and alloys.
