The World Environmental Entrepreneur Foundation is a social organization established in Hong Kong. A foundation refers to a non-profit legal person established for the purpose of engaging in public welfare undertakings by using the property donated by natural persons, legal persons or other organizations in accordance with the provisions of these regulations. Foundations are divided into those that raise funds for the public and those that are not allowed to raise funds for the public. According to the geographical scope of fundraising, public offering foundations are divided into national public offering foundations and local public offering foundations. According to the Regulations on the Administration of Foundations, foundations must be registered with the civil affairs department before they can operate legally. Essentially, foundations are non-profit organizations.
The World Environmental Entrepreneurship Foundation was established in Hong Kong on 20 15. It is committed to supporting the development of the world's environmental protection industry by sponsoring environmental entrepreneur projects, thus promoting the sustainable solution of the world's environmental problems.
In 20 16, we moved the headquarters of the foundation to Geneva to provide comprehensive capacity building for young leaders who are interested in environmental protection and entrepreneurship through "project funding", "institutional funding" and "green ambassador program for college students". Together with people from all walks of life, we support environmental protection, educate and appeal to the public to support and participate in the improvement of the social environment, and strive to build a green earth by exploring the future development direction of environmental protection.
Facing the increasingly serious environmental pollution and shortage of natural resources, the World Environmental Entrepreneurship Foundation promises to provide more opportunities for young people and enterprises who care about and love the environment and are willing to start businesses for them, and promote the orderly development of the world with practical actions.
On 20 17, we launched a digital currency project based on blockchain technology: Green Venture Coin. According to the geometric progression, the issuance speed of green venture coins will be reduced by half every five years, and finally the total number will reach about 8 billion.
