The Ministry of Education is responsible for providing China government scholarships to foreign countries according to the agreements or plans reached between the China government and foreign governments or international organizations, and entrusts the National Scholarship Committee of China (CSC) to be specifically responsible for the enrollment and daily affairs management of foreign students who enjoy China government scholarships to study in China.
China government scholarships are divided into undergraduate scholarships, master's scholarships, doctoral scholarships, advanced students' scholarships in China, ordinary advanced students' scholarships and advanced students' scholarships. In addition, it is divided into Great Wall Scholarship, Outstanding Student Scholarship, HSK Winning Scholarship, Short-term Training Program for TCFL Teachers and China Cultural Research Program.
