According to Article 2 of the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Private Investment Funds (Trial), these Measures shall apply to the registration, fund raising and investment operation of companies and partnerships established for investment activities, and the assets are managed by fund managers or general partners.

General partners can also manage private equity funds.
