(1) Carry out fundraising activities to promote the development of paleontological fossils and geological environment protection in China, and accept donations from relevant organizations and individuals at home and abroad who are enthusiastic about paleontological fossils and geological environment public welfare undertakings. Fund maintenance, value-added operation and investment activities to increase the fund's funds;

(2) to carry out popular science education activities about fossils and geological environment knowledge, publicize the significance of fossil and geological environment protection and relevant laws and regulations, and arouse the awareness of the whole people;

(3) Assist the government to make rational use of paleontological fossils and geological environment, establish fossil museums, and prevent paleontological fossils from being indiscriminately mined, dug, bought and sold, smuggled and trafficked;

(4) Focus on funding some projects such as resource investigation and research, scientific excavation and international exchange and cooperation of paleontological fossils and geological environment. Reward units and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the protection of paleontological fossils and geological environment;

(5) funded projects established in accordance with the wishes of donors and in line with the purpose of the Foundation;

(6) Carry out other public welfare projects and activities that are beneficial to the protection of paleontological fossils and geological environment; Undertake other special tasks entrusted by government departments.
