Candidates taking the Fund Practitioner Examination should bring valid identification documents, admission tickets and other valid documents. Valid identity documents include legal and valid identity documents such as resident identity cards, passports, Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macao residents, Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan residents and other valid travel documents.

In addition, candidates can also bring their own calculation pens, but they cannot bring their own scratch paper. Candidates carrying prohibited items in the examination room should put them in the designated location in the examination room before the examination. If a candidate brings items other than those specified into the examination room or fails to place them in the designated location, and fails to correct them after being reminded by the invigilator, the examination results for that subject will be treated as invalid and he will not be allowed to register for the examination within one year.
