It is Leiji Chen who plays the guqin.
Leiji Chen, 1967 was born in Shanghai. He began to study guqin at the age of 9. 12 was admitted to the Guqin major in the middle school attached to Shanghai Conservatory of Music until he graduated from university. He has been studying the piano for more than ten years, and studied under Mr. Gong Yi, a guqin performer and educator, and has laid an extremely solid foundation in guqin performance. His voice is powerful, his emblem is accurate, and his intonation is never vague and free; In performance, it pursues simplicity and innocence, abandons affectation, attaches importance to skills and ignores appearance. It sounds unrestrained, graceful and euphemistic, stretching and comfortable, with endless aftertaste. 1989 recorded the album "Seven Strings and One Unique Skill".
Chen Daxue lived in France after graduation. During my stay in France, I studied at Reims International National Conservatory of Music and Ruhr-Malmeisson. He conducted the European Youth Symphony Orchestra; American blue lagoon Youth Symphony Orchestra; "Lisbon City Symphony Orchestra of Portugal"; Yugoslav "Sarajevo" Opera Orchestra; Polish "Katowice" Symphony Orchestra; Italian "Pesccarese" Municipal Orchestra; Shanghai Radio Symphony Orchestra; Lanzhou Symphony Orchestra; Chengdu Symphony Orchestra; And served as the invited conductor of the "Shanghai Conservatory of Music Youth Symphony Orchestra" tour in France; Invited conductor of "Beijing Portuguese Modern Music Festival"; Music Director and Permanent Conductor of Young Students Orchestra of Luer-Malmaison International National Conservatory of Music.
At the same time, he did not forget to promote the art of guqin, the quintessence of Chinese culture. As many as 100 solo concerts of guqin have been held in Europe and other places, and in cooperation with the Western Symphony Orchestra, we have tried works such as Qin Yun composed by Luo Zhongrong, You Lan composed by Liu Kui and Chen Qigang composed by guqin concerto. More than ten guqin albums have also been published, among which OCORA, piano score of Mayan-solo album of Leiji Chen Guqin published by French radio station, won the "Best Playing Record Award of World Music" selected by French Charles Cross Foundation in 2005.
In 2003, after returning to China, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music to study for a master's degree in conducting. In 2004, he recorded the latest album "The Story of Reconciliation", which was appraised as "a rare one in the guqin world" by his first tutor, Mr. Gong Yi. He is currently the chief conductor of the "Youth National Orchestra" in the middle school attached to China Conservatory of Music.
But I heard that the piano is not the real Qin Tang. According to Wang Wei, a reporter from Anshan Daily, the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games was not hosted by Qin Tang, but by Wang Peng, a modern pianist.
