Second, the choice of categories and duration of study abroad.

1. Senior research scholar: study abroad for 3-6 months;

2. Visiting scholars (including postdoctoral research): study abroad for 3- 12 months;

3. Joint training of undergraduates (going abroad for classes or internships during the undergraduate period): the duration of studying abroad is 3- 12 months.

Third, the content of funding.

Generally speaking, it is the round-trip international travel expenses and scholarship living expenses during studying abroad. Specific funding projects and standards are determined at the time of admission.

Four, the basic conditions of the applicant

1. Love the motherland, love socialism, have good political quality, have no record of violating laws and disciplines, and return to China to serve the motherland after graduation.

2. Official staff or outstanding students of our school.

3. Have a good professional foundation and development potential, and have outstanding performance in work and study. The foreign language level meets the requirements of the foreign language conditions for overseas students funded by the National Fund for Studying Abroad;

The scope of national study abroad fund does not include: ① those who have been funded by national study abroad fund and are still in the period of validity; (2) Persons who have received full foreign scholarships; ③ Persons who have obtained permanent residency abroad; (4) Persons working abroad; (5) overseas students (except those applying for doctoral degrees); ⑥ Those who have been funded by the National Fund for Studying Abroad and have worked for less than five years after returning to China are not subject to this restriction, but those who have returned to China for studying abroad in the following projects: Sino-German short-term scholar exchange program (DAAD/DFG), Sino-German joint doctoral research program, Dentsu doctoral research program in Japan, doctoral thesis scholarship program of Japan Academic Promotion Association, Sino-Soviet doctoral education and research partnership program (visiting scholars), and Greek exchange scholarship program (summer trainees category, The duration of studying abroad is 1 month), short-term overseas exchange program for doctoral supervisors, overseas study program for young backbone teachers (providing international travel subsidies), and overseas study/internship/exchange program for undergraduates (such as Infosys' internship program in India).
