I. Purpose of the Project
The late-funded project of the National Social Science Fund and the excellent doctoral thesis publishing project aim to encourage the broad masses of philosophy and social science workers to carry forward the excellent style of study, devote themselves to study and do solid research, strive to introduce outstanding masterpieces with academic inheritance and innovative value, train a group of outstanding young scholars, and give full play to the demonstration and guiding role of the National Social Science Fund in the prosperity and development of philosophy and social science.
Second, the target of funding.
The later projects funded by the National Social Science Fund and the outstanding doctoral thesis publishing projects mainly support the outstanding academic achievements of philosophy and social science research that have been basically completed but not yet published. Mainly support academic monographs, but also support a small number of high academic value data compilation, research reports and reference books. 26 disciplines such as pedagogy, art and military science can apply for the National Social Science Fund.
Three. Project type and funds
The late projects funded by the National Social Science Fund are divided into key projects and general projects. Key projects mainly support research results with heavy academic weight and strong innovation, which have an important role in promoting the development of disciplines, and each funding amount is about 350,000 yuan. General projects mainly support research results with high academic value and certain innovation, and each funding amount is about 250,000 yuan. Key projects that do not meet the project requirements but meet the general project standards can be established as general projects. Excellent doctoral thesis publishing project mainly supports excellent doctoral theses with in-depth research, high degree of innovation and great development potential, and highlights scientific research support for outstanding young scholars. The amount of each subsidy is about 200,000 yuan. In 2022, the fund management of late funded projects of the National Social Science Fund and outstanding doctoral thesis publishing projects will be implemented on a pilot basis. The person in charge of the project should decide on the use of funds on the basis of the commitment to abide by the requirements of scientific research ethics, study style and integrity, and all the funds will be used for the expenditures related to the research work of this project, which is in line with the principles of science, rationality, standardization and effectiveness. The project responsible unit shall formulate the management regulations on the use of contracted responsibility system funds in a timely manner.
Fourth, the reporting conditions
1. Applicants must abide by the Constitution and laws of People's Republic of China (PRC), adhere to the correct political orientation, value orientation and research orientation, and abide by the relevant management regulations of the National Social Science Fund; Be able to independently carry out research work and have a good style of study; Have an associate senior or above professional title (position), or have a doctorate. Encourage well-known experts, scholars and retired researchers with long-term academic accumulation to actively declare.
2. The applicant's unit should have a scientific research management department, which can provide necessary conditions for carrying out research and promise credit guarantee. If the applicant's unit does not have a scientific research management department, it may entrust the doctoral degree-granting unit to declare and manage it.
3 to declare the results of key projects and general projects need to be completed more than 80% (the proportion of results declared by retired researchers is not less than 70%). To declare key projects and general projects on the basis of doctoral thesis and postdoctoral research report, the completion date of the thesis should be more than three years (the defense date should be before 2065438+June 30, 2009), and substantial amendments should be made on the basis of the original thesis, and the length of additions, deletions and revisions should reach more than 30% of the original thesis.
4. Applicants for the excellent doctoral thesis publishing project should be under 35 years old (1born after April 28th, 987), and the thesis must be written in Chinese, and the graduate school has rated it as "excellent". The completion date is June 30th, 20 19-June 30th, 20265438+0 (subject to the date of defense). Under the same conditions, priority will be given to obtaining excellent doctoral dissertations at or above the provincial or ministerial level.
5. In any of the following circumstances, it shall not be declared:
(1) The national scientific research projects undertaken by the applicant, such as the National Social Science Fund and the National Natural Science Fund, have not been completed;
(2) It belongs to the research results of national scientific research projects such as the National Social Science Fund Project and the National Natural Science Fund Project, and the humanities and social science research project of the Ministry of Education;
(3) Modifying a published work, or duplicating the published work of the applicant by more than 10%;
(4) the results involve state secrets.

Key projects and general projects are directly declared by individuals; If you sign a publishing contract or reach an intention of publishing cooperation with a publishing agency designated by our office, you must issue a recommendation letter from the publishing house. Excellent doctoral thesis publishing projects must be recommended by doctoral degree awarding units and declared by individuals. The specific procedures are as follows:
