1939 Adolf Butenandt (Adotf Butenandt) German (1903) Leopold Ruzicka (Leopold Ruzicka) Switzerland borrowed Yugoslavia (1882–1976) for his outstanding contributions to sex hormone research.
He won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1939 because his work was related to the sex hormone research work of German scientist A. Butenant, so the two won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1939.
