The dividend of the fund cannot be cashed immediately. If you choose "cash dividend", it will generally arrive about one week after the dividend payment date; If you choose "dividend reinvestment", you can generally find it in date of record and T+2 after the ex-dividend date.

So this is also the reason why the account will temporarily "lose money" after the fund dividend is completed.
