IThenticate is a software specially used for duplicate checking, which can check all files in text format, including DOC, DOCX, TXT, HTML, PDF, etc.
After the applicant submits the application, the system will automatically check the duplicate and generate a duplicate check report within 24 hours. If the applicant thinks that there is an error in the duplicate check report, he can make a modification or appeal according to the operation guide given in the report. It should be reminded that the National Natural Science Foundation of China attaches great importance to plagiarism, and applicants must strictly abide by the application regulations of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and international academic norms to prevent being rejected or punished for plagiarism.
In addition to NSFC, other journals and academic publishing institutions also have their own duplicate checking systems and processes, including Crossref, Turnitin, Grammarly, etc. The specific process and operation method may be slightly different, so it is necessary to refer to the corresponding system regulations and operation guidelines.
