NPI strongly advocates the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR), which has contributed to a large number of corporate public welfare resources flowing into grassroots organizations and supporting social innovation. Through the cooperation with Lenovo, Nokia, Master Kong, Intel, Diageo, China Merchants and other outstanding enterprises, all parties have achieved a win-win situation. Nowadays, it has become a common practice for enterprises to support non-governmental public welfare. Since 2007, the "venture charity" public investment model introduced and practiced by NPI has been widely recognized by all walks of life. NPI has successively cooperated with enterprises, foundations and governments to carry out a number of "public venture capital" and "public competition" projects, which set off a wave of non-governmental public entrepreneurship. Up to now, NPI has managed more than 50 million public welfare venture capital funds and funded nearly 300 public welfare projects. In 2009, NPI initiated the establishment of Shanghai Public Welfare Development Foundation ("Li Anquan" for short), which will explore new modes of joint fundraising and public welfare funding, integrate more social resources and serve the growth needs of emerging public welfare organizations.
On 20 10, the Shanghai Social Innovation Incubation Park (referred to as "Fengchao") designed and operated by NPI officially opened, marking that NPI's concept of establishing a comprehensive social innovation and creative park is being put into practice. In addition, large-scale activities such as "Public Welfare Canton Fair" and "Corporate Citizens in Action" launched by NPI have also become important landscapes in the industry.
Nowadays, NPI business units have formed a joint fleet management pattern of "independent registration, brand enjoyment, resource integration and business complementarity". It will continue to innovate in the field of public welfare support, and at the same time make unremitting efforts to establish and improve the public welfare infrastructure in China.
