South China University of Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is located in Guangzhou, a famous city in the south, covering an area of more than 2.94 million square meters. The campus is divided into two campuses. Wushan Campus is located in Shipai University District, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. The predecessor of Guangdong Institute of Technology was a first-class industrial school in Guangdong Province established in 19 18, and its history can be traced back to the Guangdong Arts and Crafts Bureau founded by the Qing government in 19 10. These colleges and universities are the cradle of cultivating senior engineering and technical talents and an important source of early democratic and scientific ideas in South China.
South China University of Technology is a university jointly established by the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the Ministry of Education, and it is one of the first batch of key construction institutions of "World-class University Construction University", "Project 21"and "Project 985". Selected in "11/plan", "excellent engineer education and training plan", "excellent legal talent education and training plan", "overseas high-level talent introduction plan", "China government scholarship institutions to study in China" and "national construction of high-level universities".

I. South and North Campus of South China University of Technology
The campus is divided into two campuses, the North Campus is located in Shipai University District, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, and the South Campus is located in Guangzhou University Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou. The school covers an area of 44 17 mu (including south campus 1677 mu).
