Ren Dandan, Ph.D. in Composition, lecturer in the Department of Composition of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, and visiting scholar at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA. 1999-2007 studied in the composition department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, and obtained a bachelor's degree in composition and a master's degree in orchestration. 20 1 1 Ph.D. graduated from China Conservatory of Music and studied under Professor Quan Jihao.

His works involve vocal music, solo and duet of western and national musical instruments, symphony and other styles and genres, and have been performed at home and abroad for many times and won favorable comments. In 20/2000/2004, he went to darmstadt summer composition class, where he was instructed by many internationally renowned composers. 20 15 to 20 16 20 10 visited the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and studied under two famous composers in China, Rola Chen and Zhou Long. The symphony "Under the Kapok Tree" won the third prize of the 16th National Musical Works (Symphony) Award of the Ministry of Culture on 20 12. 20 13 was selected as Tianjin "13 1 Innovative Talents Training Project". 20 17 was supported by the National Art Foundation "Young Artists Project". 20 18 was selected as the national art foundation project-the "Young Composer Training Program" of China Symphony Orchestra.
