Solutions to solve the problem of unresponsive laptop computer when starting up

When the laptop cannot be turned on (does not turn on/cannot turn on), you may encounter the following two situations

1. After pressing the power on button, there is no screen, The power indicator light is not on? → Please refer to Solution 1

2. After pressing the power button, there is no screen but the power indicator light is on? → Please refer to Solution 2

The key to determining whether the computer cannot be turned on is the power indicator light (red box in the picture below)

1. Solution 1: (The power indicator light is not on)

The power indicator light is not on. It may be that the transformer cannot supply power or the main components are abnormal and cannot be turned on

a. Please use the original transformer and power cord with correct specifications.

b. Please confirm the transformer connector, as shown in the figure below, whether the A power cord end/B socket end/C computer end is loose, or you can try changing the socket.

Tips: Different models of laptops may have different transformer styles, please refer to the user manual for instructions.

c. Please check whether the transformer wire is damaged. If so, please replace the transformer for testing.

d. Please remove all external devices, including USB/memory card/network cable/HDMI, etc.

e. Did you expand the hard drive or memory before the problem occurred? If so, restore it to the factory default state first.

f. Please remove the battery from the laptop and use the transformer for power supply directly.

※ Note: The battery may not be removed for some models, please skip this step (f). As shown in the picture below, C is the removable battery module

g. Remove the transformer, then press and hold the power button for 40 seconds (press and hold it down) to reset the CMOS.

h. After connecting the transformer and battery (if your computer has a removable battery module), press the power button to confirm whether it can boot normally.

2. Solution 2: (The power indicator light is on)
