What materials are needed when applying for a Malaysian trademark?

1. Power of attorney for trademark registration: The applicant needs to sign and seal the power of attorney;

2. Applicant’s qualification certification materials: When applying in the name of a company, the company must be attached Copy of business license; when applying in an individual’s name, a copy of ID card or passport needs to be attached;

3. Trademark pattern: A clear trademark pattern is required, with the image size between 5cm*5cm and 10cm*10cm

4. Proof of priority: If you have priority according to the provisions of the Paris Convention, please list in detail the goods or services involved in the priority and relevant certificates. The period for obtaining priority is within six months after the first application;

5. Trademark category: List the goods or services sought to be registered, and indicate that all goods or services in the trademark category must be strictly in accordance with Trademark classification table is listed.
