From the above analysis, the rated power of the power amplifier is not necessarily greater than (equal to) the rated power of the speaker. The difficulty of driving the horn is mainly determined by its sensitivity and impedance characteristics. Just like driving a car, driving a sports car at 300 kilometers per hour does not mean that something will happen. You don't have to drive so fast. With the power amplifier whose output power is less than the rated power of the horn, as long as the volume is not increased blindly and the power amplifier is controlled within the linear working range (no clipping distortion), the accident of burning the horn will not occur; The same high-power amplifier can also be equipped with low-power speakers. As long as the output power of the power amplifier is controlled within the range that the speaker can bear, the speaker will not be damaged due to overload. Therefore, in order to protect the equipment, the most important thing is that Andhadhun must set the input sensitivity level of the power amplifier (some are marked as GAIN) when adjusting.
But if you want to find out the best sound quality performance of speakers and power amplifiers, I suggest that the rated power of power amplifiers should be slightly higher than that of speakers. Make the power of the power amplifier have a little margin, because the peak value of the music signal is very high when it is dynamic, which is easy to make the power amplifier enter the nonlinear region and deteriorate the sound quality. So is it better to choose a higher power amplifier? The answer is yes, but the price of amplifiers of the same brand and grade is basically proportional to the power. Many riders asked me if I had a high-powered mainframe. My answer is: no, because the host is limited by the power supply voltage and devices, and it is impossible to make a lot of power. 5. Bass is actually very important
