The parent companies Royal Dutch Oil Company and British Shell Transport Trading Company are listed companies. They are not members of groups themselves and do not participate in business activities.

Royal Dutch Oil Company owns 60% of the shares of the group, and British Shell Transport Trading Co., Ltd. owns 40% of the shares of the group. The whole group consists of holding companies, service companies and operating companies.
