How much does a trademark agency cost?

Legal analysis: Trademark agency means that an agent engages in civil legal acts in the name of the principal within the scope of agency authority, and the legal consequences arising therefrom directly belong to the principal. The registered trademark fee is 600 yuan per item starting from October 15, 2015. If you entrust a trademark agency organization to handle it, you need to pay a different amount of trademark agency fees. The market price is between 100 and 2,000 yuan. For example, an application for trademark registration costs 1,000 agency fees, 800 for renewal, 2,000 for registration, 800 for renewal within the extension period, 2,500 for renewal, 500 for objection, 1,000 for 1,500 agency fees, 1,500 for application/registration of a trademark, 1,000 for agency fees. Moreover, the above-mentioned trademark agency services are all one-time charges, and do not need to be paid annually, and there are no follow-up fees.

Legal basis: "Regulations on the Implementation of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China"

Article 83 "Trademark agency" as mentioned in the Trademark Law refers to accepting the entrustment of the client. Handle trademark registration applications, trademark reviews or other trademark matters in the name of the client.

Article 84 The term "trademark agency" as used in the Trademark Law includes service agencies registered with the industrial and commercial administration department to engage in trademark agency business and law firms engaged in trademark agency business.

Trademark agencies that engage in trademark agency business under the jurisdiction of the Trademark Office and the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board shall file with the Trademark Office in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) Submit to the industrial and commercial administrative department for inspection Registration certification document or certification document approved by the judicial administrative department for the establishment of a law firm and keep a copy;

(2) Submit basic information such as the name, address, person in charge, and contact information of the trademark agency;

(3) Submit the list and contact information of trademark agency practitioners.

The industrial and commercial administrative department shall establish a credit file for trademark agencies. If a trademark agency violates the provisions of the Trademark Law or these Regulations, the Trademark Office or the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board shall publicly notify the violation and record it in its credit file.

Article 85 The term “trademark agency practitioners” as used in the Trademark Law refers to the staff engaged in trademark agency business in trademark agencies.

Trademark agency practitioners are not allowed to accept entrustment in their own name.
