Because 103 is located in the southern edge of Gurbantonggut Desert, its rich light resources and arid natural conditions make the melons produced here golden in color, fine in mesh, thin in skin and thick in flesh, sweet, crisp and juicy, refreshing and delicious, making them the best melons in Xinjiang. 1995, 103 Tuanchang was determined by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision and China Green Food Development Center as the Hami melon standardization demonstration area and green food production base, and obtained the green food melon certificate; 1999 was approved as "Hometown of Melon in China" by the Specialty Economic Committee of China Agricultural Society of the Ministry of Agriculture. Product quality characteristics
