Descente is a Japanese sports brand.

The DESCENTE brand was formerly known as Ishimoto men's clothing retail store, which was founded by the famous Japanese entrepreneur Mr. Ishimoto Taikao in Osaka, Japan. In order to promote the brand spirit of DESCENTE, Mr. Ishimoto invited Japanese skier Kazuyoshi Nishimura as a brand consultant to launch a ski wear series.

The DESCENTE trademark was successfully registered in 1961, and the brand was officially launched at the same time. DESCENTE has cooperated with many national teams since its inception, serving as the official sponsor of national teams such as the Swiss Alpine Ski Team, the Spanish Alpine Ski Team, the Canadian Chase Ski Team, and the German Bobsleigh Team.

DESCENTE has undoubtedly won the trust of international ski athletes and teams. The concept of insisting on developing innovative sports products has also allowed Descente to gain the following of more and more sports enthusiasts.
