"Peifeng" brand watermelon originates from Gupei Town, Mingguang City, and is grown by the Agricultural Science and Technology Professional Cooperative of Gupei Town, Mingguang City. The watermelon planting base has a planting area of ??112 acres and 310 greenhouses. Through scientific planting, watermelons have been grown from one crop to six, the yield per mu has been increased from 6,000 kilograms to 14,000 kilograms, and the supply area has been extended from one month to five months. More than 2,000 farmers in the project area have planted more than 5,000 acres, radiating more than 7,000 households in the surrounding area. Nearly 50,000 acres are planted. The watermelons grown there have bright appearance, green skin and red flesh, sweet and refreshing taste. Through the assistance of various departments and the industrial and commercial department, the cooperative is running on a healthy track. The "Peifeng" brand registered trademark applied by the industrial and commercial department on its behalf has become the first registered trademark used on agricultural products and fruits in Mingguang City.
