(5) Examination of graphic trademarks

1. When examining a graphic trademark, if the trademark pattern is not clearly displayed, use the "Graphic View" program to view it. If it is still unclear, return to the formal exam.

2. When examining graphic trademarks, we should search the registry and standard dictionary library.

3. When examining graphic trademarks, the examiner can add graphic elements to search as needed.

(6) Examination of trademark application on the same day

If the examiner finds that there are identical or similar trademarks on the same or similar goods applied on the same day, he shall report to the Director, who will coordinate to ensure that the relevant notices are sent to all applicants at the same time.

The specific operation shall be carried out in accordance with the examination rules for substantive application for trademark registration on that day.

(7) Cross-retrieval of similar commodities

Due to historical reasons such as repeated revisions, the approximate group numbers of some goods and services in the trademark database do not match those in the current Classification Table of Similar Goods and Services. When reviewing, similar groups should be deleted before reviewing, so as to avoid missing and wrong checking.
