The producing areas in Taitung are mainly distributed in the producing areas of annona, including Taitung City, Beinan Township, taimali township, Donghe Township and Lvye Township, with a planting area of about 150 hectares. Because the pineapple Sakyamuni is a hybrid variety, some seedling merchants introduced it from abroad, and the variety names were confused. However, according to the shape and appearance of the fruit, the varieties currently planted may include Gefner, Pink Mammoth and African Pride.
